This page shows the construction process of a recent (June 2013) prayer wheel that I installed in a Peace Park in Elko Nevada. Due to the secular nature of the Peace Park the prayer wheel was renamed a Peace Wheel. Some design features were amended from traditionally Buddhist/Tibetan symbols to more global symbols of peace.

The top of the base is not a perfect circle as is the earth is not a perfect sphere. However it does not matter one iota in the end. In the middle there is a can indentation for the bolt/nut that sits beneath the bearing

Here a a prepared stainless steel disk with a thick lip metal edging is bolted to the bearing.
